On the morning of 10th July, 2018, in Conference Room 818, Future Building, Binhai New District, Weifang, the Administrative Committee of Binhai District held a report meeting of Aernova Aero engine Project in Conference Room 818 of Future Building, Binhai District, Weifang City.
The official attendees included Zhang Hengdao (Deputy Secretary of the District Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee), Liu Xiaowei (Investigator of the District Management Committee), Wang Xiugang (Member of the District Party Working Committee and Director of Party and Government Office), Lyu Wei (Party Secretary of the District Land Planning Bureau), Dong Guangming (Party Secretary and Director of the District Economic Operation and Technical Commerce Bureau), Song Meiliang (Standing Deputy Director of the District NPC Studio), Yuan Yingxue (Party Secretary of the District Advanced Manufacturing Industry Park), Wang Yuejun (Party Secretary and CEO of the District Merchants Group). The investors for the project included Liu Fengliang (Executive Director of Zhongyou Aviation), Shao Hong ( Group Director of Zhongyou Group), Zhou Wangqin (Chairman of Aernova Italy), Giunchi (CEO of Aernova Italy), Gianmichele (Chief Engineer of Aernova Italy), Fu Xizhi (Representative of China in Aernova Italy) and so on. Besides, the meeting invited experts and scholars from China Aerospace Science & Industry Corp, AOPA Aircraft and Product Airworthiness Support Center, Investment and Financing Professional Research Association affiliated to Society of Public Finance of China, etc.
Afterwards guided by Wang Wenrong (Deputy Director of the Binhai District Party and Government Office), the investors, experts, scholars and other attendees visited the Binhai Economic Development Zone, the proposed address of the Aero engine Project and the R & D Center, and the temporary workshops of the aero engines.
The Aernova Aero engine Project plans to invest 500 million RMB in Binhai District to build an aero engine assembly production base covering the power range of 100hp-1000hp and a R & D center for Sino-Europe co-researches and sharing technologies. When the project reaches target capacity, it is expected to produce annually more than 5,000 aero engines, gearboxes and accessories of various power. The completion of the technology R & D center will provide the relevant aero engine assembly technology experts in China and Europe with an equal and cooperative communication platform through which foreign and domestic research achievements of the advanced aero engine technology can be applied, and a large number of aero engine technical talents can be cultivated at home.
